Getting your Christmas on

[box] Content goes here[/box] xmas blog image 3I don’t know about you, but I blooming love Christmas!

Christmas can be expensive and stressful. I have a large family, with 3 kids of my own. We don’t think it has to be.

Yes it’s nice to buy some presents for those special people, especially lovely Gecko presents of course, but Christmas doesn’t have to be about your budget or consumerism. There’s so much you can do on a shoestring and enjoy the magic and the lead up to the big day.

This is why we are doing a weekly themed discussion and share on the run up to Christmas. This week we are looking at great Christmas makes for those special and personalised presents. This is a great way of getting the kids involved and making special presents that make people smile. We will be sharing a few different ideas we have come across, but we would really love to hear your ideas. At the end of each week I will pop the most popular ones together in a post on the blog for your reference. Feel free to keep adding and sharing ideas in the comments below!

Next week we will be looking at homemade hamper ideas, then the following on with some ethical gifting ideas.

For now I will leave you with our favourite 3 Christmas cracker jokes:

What does Santa suffer from if he gets stuck in a chimney?

Why did Santa's helper see the doctor?

Because he had a low "elf" esteem!

What is the best Christmas present in the world?

A broken drum, you just can't beat it!
